
Monday mornings : Qigong for Health and Wellbeing
In this class we will start from fundamental practice and include work for balance, stability, fluidity of movement, breath, flow and integration of body, heart and mind. We will base the class on the simple and elegant Shibashi set 1. It is easy to learn and memorise and is a foundational practice. We will thread this in with warm ups, 5 Element forms and other things that feel relevant as the term progresses. I always try to allow an element of spontineity in response to the moment and the need. The class is enjoyable and relaxing with a little challenge. All welcome

In this class we will continue exploring the second set of the Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi. It is suitable for all but people who have done some qigong, Tai qi or movement practice before will find it easier. It is not at all difficult but it is a little more dynamic than the set one practice. We will continue to explore the fundamentals of Qigong practice with warm up, some 5 element forms, and other relevant forms. We finish in silence and stillness.
You are welcome to come as a drop in and with regular practice ones' embodiment and understanding develops.
