This class will be a foundational class including work for balance and stability, supporting fluididy of movement , breath and whole body integration. We will base the class on the simple and elegant Shibashi set one. It is easy to learn and memorise and so useful as a base for any ongoing practice. We will thread this in with warm ups, 5 Element forms, balance forms and other things that feel relevant as the term progresses. I always try to allow an element of spontineity in response to the moment and the need.

It is suitable for all but people who have done some qigong, Tai qi or movement practice before will find it easieer. It is not at all difficult but it is a little more dynamic than the set one practice. You are welcome to come as a drop in and with regular practice ones' embodiment and understanding develops.
